George A. Powers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2021, George A. Powers of South Saint Paul, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, George and Rose. He is survived by : his wife Gloria; his children, Susan Zweber (Greg), Mike, Mary Jo Schrader (David) and James (Geri); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Lottie, Emily, Lindsay, Rachel, Seth, Brianna, Allison and Heather; his great grandchildren, Willie, Greta, Maggie, Lily, Renae, Mallory, Roman, Mayzie, Annelise, Bennett, Eleanora and Evelyn; and his sisters, Donna, Mary and Renee.
When the 2020 COVID lockdowns were imposed, he was incredibly disappointed that he could not attend church and was looking forward to returning soon after restrictions were to be lifted.
His aspiration was to fund free ice time for any and all kids through donations.
