She is survived by : her husband Leslie Merkel of Spring Valley; her daughters, Sara Cronkhite (Lee) of Cedar Falls, IA, Stephanie Merkel of Minneapolis, MN and Abbie Romero (Frank) of Gardena, CA; and her grandchildren, Siggy, Frank, Olivia, Chloe and Josefina.
