She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Merkel and Mildred Merkel (Kraling). She is survived by : her children, Ryan Hinze (Kellie), Alicyn Hinze and Ross Hinze; her grandchildren, Meadow, Madison, Miley and Rylee; and her siblings, Karen Skifter (Jerry), Scott Merkel (Kim), Todd Merkel (Kathy) and Sara Warren (Jon). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
