She is survived by : her husband Arlin Dayton "Jack" Carpenter, Sr.; her daughter Debra Lynn Hood; her grandson David Andrew Hood; her son-in-law Bill; her sisters, Betty Lee Boyd, Barbara Craddock and Carolyn Brooks; her son Arlin Dayton "Junkie" Carpenter, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Barbara Carpenter of Charleston; her daughter Dena Louise Johnston of Dunbar; her grandchildren, Jonathan Carpenter (Susannah), Jeffrey Carpenter (Jami), Michelle Reisinger (Michael) of Pine Island, MN and Brian Carpenter of Spring Valley, MN; her great grandchildren, Emma Carpenter of Charleston, Alex Carpenter of Charleston, Megan Carpenter of Charleston, Kayla Carpenter of Charleston, Emily Reisinger, Ethan Reisinger and Brooklynn Carpenter of Spring Valley, MN; her sister Edna Jean Hawkins; her siblings-in-law, Dave Cox of Middletown, DE, James Cox of Bluefield, VA and Frances Jolly of Littlestown, PA; and also, Donald Lee Carpenter (Susan Blackhurst) of Dunbar, Robert Campbell of Dunbar and Connie Cox.
