He was predeceased by : his parents, Mikkel Bjerga and Leona Bjerga (Quade); and his grandson Ryan Jansson. He is survived by : his wife Joan Kowalski; his children, Laurie Craft (Mike), Gloria Jansson (Barry), Rudy Bjerga Jr. (Mary) and Joey Bjerga (Lorrie); and his siblings, Mike Bjerga (Judy) and Dale Bjerga (Lorna). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
