Bonita Haugen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025, Bonita Haugen of Starbuck, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Swartz and Anna Mae Swartz (Goulet); and her parents-in-law, Kenneth and Alvera Haugen. She is survived by: her husband Bob of Starbuck; her children, Jessica Norwood (James) of Aurora, CO and Thomas Haugen (Shelly) of Bloomington, IN; her grandchildren, Madison, Mason and Morgan Norwood; her siblings, Gregory Swartz of Starbuck, Deborah Chow (Mike) of Texas, Daniel Swartz (Sheila) of Glenwood, Bradley Swartz of Glenwood, Michael Swartz (Darla) of Jamestown, ND, Jeffery Swartz (Rae) of Waukon, IA and Lisa Swartz of Blaine; and her brother-in-law Ross Haugen (Jana) of Maple Grove. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (105 Franklin St N, Glenwood, MN 56334). A Mass was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
