She was predeceased by : her parents, Alder Schlief and Violet Schlief (Wegener); her sister Sharon Benjamin (Philip); her former life partner John Wessel; her brother-in-law Jack Wessel; and also, Gus and Rose Wessel.
She is survived by : her sons, David Schlief (Stacie) of Danvers and Daryl Schlief (Janelle) of Pen Valley, CA; her grandchildren, Harliegh, Savannah, Natasha and Blade; her brothers, Warren Schlief of California and Douglas Schlief (Evie) of Glenwood; and her brother-in-law Gene Wessel (Sandy) of Ohio. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
