She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Buerskin and Agnes Buerskin (Suchy); her husband Stanley Nygaard; her daughter Mary Magdalene Nygaard; her brothers, Anthony, Norbert, Raymond and Daniel Buerskin; her brothers-in-law, James Erickson and Rayness Tryggestad; and her sisters, Bernadette Kluver (Lorenz), Magdalene Schlosser (Alphonse) and Mary Jane Waskosky.
She is survived by: her children, Bernard (Carol) of Maple, WI, Raymond (Ann) of Linwood, MN, Maynard (Susan) of Shoreview, MN, Michael Nygaard of Starbuck and Lynette Lien (Norman) of Glenwood; her sisters, Clementine Tryggestad of Westby, WI and Josephine Erickson of Hebron, ND; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Buerskin of Benson, MN and Herbie Waskowsky of Wadena, MN. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
