With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orlie Brecht of Starbuck, Minnesota, born in Plato, Minnesota, who passed away on October 6, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Brecht and Elizabeth Brecht (Hansch); his parents-in-law, Orin and Mariette Syverson; his siblings, Melvin Brecht, Marvin Brecht, Liela Hakenson, Dennis Brecht, Darold Brecht and Gary Lee Brecht; and his brother-in-law Terry Syverson.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Brecht; his children, Anthony Brecht, Nathan Brecht (Carrie), Jodi Blair (Mike) and Dan Coursolle; his siblings, Loralie Quast (Harlan), Lyle Brecht (Clariece) and Larry Brecht (Jo); and his sisters-in-law, Wanda Martinson (Ron) and Diane Butenhoff (Jerry). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
