It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Shively of Stephen, Minnesota, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Shively and Helen Shively; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald Daniel, Leo Nelson and Duane Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Iris; his children, Aaron Shively (Tiffany Elste), Gretchen Amigon (Antonio), Laura Oeltjenbruns (Corey), Martha Ray (Isaac) and Angelina Likens Shively; his siblings, Larry Shively (Cheri), Kathy Clift, Joyce Daniel and Karen Radford (Dennis); his siblings-in-law, William Nelson (Susan), Ed Nelson (Gayle Goff), Rosanne Caughey (Bruce), Mary Nelson, Ron Nelson (Barb) and Gloria Nelson (Rick Williams); and his godchildren, Dan Caughey, Tracy Nelson, Veronica Geisenhoff and Reagan Coleman.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrews Catholic Church (4-day mission).
