He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Orval Switzer and Sena Switzer (Sipple); his former life partner Geraldine Willoughby; his stepson William "Bill" Saari; his wife Shirley Griffith; his children, Sheree Johnston (Mike), Shane Switzer (Gina) and Stuart Switzer; his siblings, Larry Switzer, Garnett Zerwas and Ruby Tischer; his stepchildren, Kathy Berndt, Randy Berndt (Betty), Scott Berndt, Susan Hansen, Mary Paske and Dennis "Mike" Saari; and his grandchildren, Keith Johnston (Lacy), Nick Switzer (Marlo), Chris Johnston (Aubrey), Michael Switzer (Nastia) and Caleb Switzer. He was also cherished by his grandchildren and great grandchildren including his many nieces, nephews and friends.
