He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar and Hazel; his siblings, Gerald Sandstrom and Lois Aylesworth; and his nephew Jim Aylesworth.
He is survived by : his wife Susan Sandstrom of Sturgeon Lake, MN; his children, Scott Sandstrom (Karen) of Lake Elmo, MN, Jim Sandstrom (Dianna) of Sturgeon Lake, MN, Jerry Sandstrom (Melanie) of Anchorage, AK and Heidi Straub (Darren) of New London, MN; his grandchildren, Kevin Sandstrom (Rachel), Kassia Fortuna (Jerry), Steven Sandstrom (Kelly), Noelle Nielsen (Seth), Sandra Schultz (Andrew), Roger Sandstrom (Beth), Julie Semeraro (Josh), Joseph Sandstrom, Allyson Straub and Andrew Straub; and his nieces and nephews, Luanne Glynn, Karen White, Roger Sandstrom and Joel Sandstrom.
