With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janine Lynn Ternes (Twig, Minnesota), born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on May 11, 2020 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim McDonnell and Harriet McDonnell; her son Jody; and her nephew Zach McDonnell. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Ternes; her children, Amy Ternes (Sawyer Derry) and Kim "Ternes" Johnson (Matt Johnson); her siblings, Jimmy McDonnell (Debbie), Kathy Barry (Jim), Mike McDonnell (Jackie) and Colleen McDonnell Seafolk; her siblings' children, Tom Moder (Sam), Jeremy McDonnell, Jeff Barry (Tracy), Makayla Herstad (Aaron) and Miranda Seafolk; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nick Moder, Julia Moder, Landon McDonnell and Ava Barry; and her pet Lacy.
