He is survived by: his wife Mary Clare Vandergon; his children, Brian Hilgardner (Cari), Matt Hilgardner (Nicki) and Kristina Hilgardner (Tom Handrich); and his siblings, Brad and Linda. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
