He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolas Stephan and Almina Stephan (Cheney); and his siblings, Patty, Shirley, Donna and Doug.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Stephan of Vining; his children, Curt Stephan of Parkers Prairie, Greg Stephan (Tammy) of Vining and Tammy Midtling (Kerry) of Almora; and his brother Gary Stephan (Joan) of Minneapolis. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
