He was predeceased by : his parents, John Knott and Anna Knott (Zins); his siblings, John Jr., Edward (Marcia), Dale (Bernadette) and Marcella Knott; and his brother-in-law Marlyn Ferencik.
He is survived by : his wife Bernadine Manderscheid; his children, Carol Pelzel (Joe) of Burnsville, Janet Rudenick (Wayne) of Redwood Falls, James (Deb) of Wabasso, John of Villard, Jeff of Milroy, Jolene Schroepfer (Leon) of Ghent, Jean Knott Seurer of Eagan, Jill Buchholz (Warren) of Marshall, Glen of Redwood Falls and Lisa Swenson (Carter) of Farmington; his siblings, David (Maurine) of Wabasso, Barbara Ferencik Haag (Dale) of Bloomington and Darlene Bierl (Roland) of Wanda; and his sisters-in-law, Marlene Goblirsch (Eugene) and Phyllis Skoblik (Delbert). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren; brother.
