He is survived by : his wife Rita Kalkhoff; his children, Tom (Lisa), Tim, Paul, Bruce (Wendy), Sarah Kienholz (Dean) and Craig (Nichol); and his siblings, Doris Rothmeier, Mary Liebl, Elizabeth Groebner, Arnold and Clarence. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
