He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hormann and Vera Hormann (Hillstrom); his wife Carol J. Hormann; and his brother Robert Hormann. He is survived by: his sons, Rev. David (Cindy Hormann), Dewey (Karla Hormann) and Darin "Ray" (Sheila Hormann); his grandchildren, Zacharie, Matthew, Isaac, Caleb and Clayton; his great grandchildren, Cameron and Cora Tyler; his brothers, Gary (Bev Hormann), Gordon (Sharon Hormann) and Kenneth (Stacey Hormann); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Hormann, Betty Kosse and Marlene Kerkow. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
