He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Beneke and Doris Beneke (Sprengeler); his wife Elaine; and his siblings, Lillian (Ray Sommers), Helen (John Thompson), Myrtle (Harvey Lueck), Elmer Beneke, Hillard Beneke and Ray (Dorothy Beneke).
He is survived by: his son Dale Beneke (Olga) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Ryan Beneke (Jungshin), Jessica Beneke and Brandi Beneke; his great grandchildren, Lela and Micah; his siblings, Delford Beneke (Sharon) and Arlene Beneke of Hutchinson, MN; and his sister-in-law Jane Shebal of Scranton, PA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
