He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Schugg and Leata Schugg (Roen); his siblings, Sandy Bennett and Ed Schugg; his stepmother Lillian Schugg; and his nephew Daniel Schauer.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Folz; and his sister Lynn Schauer (Virgil) of Glencoe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
