She was predeceased by : her parents, Matt Nikkari and Elizabeth Nikkari (Kevila); and her siblings, Helmi Lofback, Mae Koski, Lillian Lorentz, Mildred Pierson, Linda Paavola, Albert, Eino, Charles and Albin Nikkari.

She is survived by : her husband Orville Aho; her children, Suzanne Aho of St. Cloud, MN, Brian Aho (Debbie) of Brainerd, MN, Mary Jane Slowinski (Mike) of Harrisonburg, VA and Michael Aho (Donna) of Fargo, ND.; her grandchildren, Shawn, Scott, Eric Slowinski, Rachel, Travis Aho and Elizabeth Deeren; and her great grandchildren, Chase Slowinski, Caleb, Corinna Derren, Carter Hicks and Mason Aho.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be directed to either Prince of Peace Lutheran Church or the ministry of Developing and Shepherding International.
