It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Phyllis Hazel (Wayzata, Minnesota), born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on March 24, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Bernard and Marie Bernard (Kemp); and her siblings, Darlene Kerns and Thomas Bernard of Waterloo. She is survived by: her husband George Hazel; her children, Todd Hazel of Bedford, Sarah Doll of Plymouth, Mary Hazel, McKenzie Staley, Justin Doll and Ryan Doll; and her sister Beverly Knapek (Bill) of Waterloo.
