He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Johnson and Audrey Miller (Roy); his sister Ardis Trulin; and his wife Jennifer Johnson (Thorne). He is survived by: his son Alex Johnson (Elise); his stepdaughters, Allison Davidson (Josh) and Alison Busby (Ben); and his brother Kevin Johnson (Julie).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bodelson-Mahn Chapel (602 Plum St, Red Wing, MN 55066). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
