He was predeceased by : his father Duane Whaley; his wife Becky Whaley (White); and his niece Karilyn Cottingham. He is survived by : his mother Irene Whaley (Stoick) of Wheaton, MN; his children, Shane Jefferson of Wahpeton, ND, Tanya Whitman (Mike) of Peyton, CO, Sonya Frisch (Todd) of Dumont, MN and Stephen Whaley (Danielle) of Fargo, ND; and his siblings, Darwin Whaley (Carol) of St. Michael, MN, Kathy Cottingham (Carey) of Sioux Falls, SD, Kristi Nelson (Larry) of Rapid City, SD, Myrna Westby (Curtis) of Lead, SD, Cindy Whaley of Lincroft, NJ, Marcy Lewis (Dave) of Rosholt, SD, Honorary and Annette Roldan of Freehold, NJ. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
