He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; his daughter Kerry; his parents, Mack and Madge; his stepmother Edyth; and his stepsiblings, Carl and Hulda.
He is survived by: his daughter Karla McKane (Tom); his son-in-law Mike Zawislak; his grandchildren, Katie, Matt Zawislak, Marta and Marilyn McKane; his close friend Gordy Jacobson (Shirley); and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Ann Norling and Barb Backlund. He is also survived by many nieces and a nephew.
