She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Frieborg and Grace Frieborg (Brummer); her siblings, Peter, Bennie Frieborg, Annie Grussing (Elmer) and Florence Hammen (Clarence); and her brother-in-law Marlyn Carlson.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Christensen (LeRoy) of Atwater, Darrel Gerdes of Willmar, Duane Gerdes (Sherrie) of Ramsey, Brian Gerdes of Atwater and Paul Gerdes of Willmar; her sister Grace Carlson of Willmar; and her sisters-in-law, Pauline Frieborg of Clara City and Dorothy Frieborg of California. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
