She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Turnmire and Lylia Turnmire (Currier); her husbands, Clifford Freeman of Atwater and John Potter of Willmar; her close friend Jerry A. Anderson; and her siblings, Lyle, Paul, Albert, John and Mary Kyseth.
She is survived by: her children, Cal Freeman (Barb) of Atwater, Ron Freeman (JoAnn) of Ladysmith and Russ Freeman (Christine) of Tucson, Arizona; her grandchildren, Chris, Jeff, Elizabeth, Anna, Ruth, Elijah, Luke and Miriam; her sister Doris Mittag of Wadena; and her stepdaughter-in-law Joanie Potter-Keilen (Brian) of Austin. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or Carris Health-Rice Hospice.
