He was predeceased by: his father Gerald J. LaPatka; and his brothers, James, Lawrence, David and Thomas.
He is survived by: his brother George LaPatka (Ann) of Willmar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, besides other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar will be held at a later date following the COVID-19 pandemic.
