He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Cora; his brothers, Peter, Jacob and LeRoy; his nephew Lloyd; and his daughter-in-law Beth Tinklenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Karla; his children, Laura Halter (Randy) of Bellevue, WA, Paul Tinklenberg (Lauri) of Willmar and Dan Tinklenberg (Malikha De Louw) of St. Louis Park; and his grandchildren, Kate Halter, Benjamin Halter, Alissa Tinklenberg (Elliot Hoekstra), Sara Danielson (Drew) and Joshua Tinklenberg. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; and many friends.
