It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen K. Young of Winona, Minnesota, who passed away on December 25, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schmidt and Irene Schmidt (Belter); her spouse Jeryl "Jerry" Young; her sister Evonne; and her brother-in-law George Mueller.
She is survived by: her daughter Chris Loppnow (Chad) of Mabel, MN; her grandchildren, Samantha Loppnow of Mabel, MN and Dylan Loppnow of Caledonia, MN; and her siblings, Wayne Schmidt (Joan), Dean Schmidt (Marley) of Rochester, MN, Loretta Mueller and Winona. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
