He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin Denk and Elizabeth Denk; and his daughter Mary Jo Anastasi. He is survived by : his wife Reva; his children, Catherine Svendsen (Craig), Robert Denk (Vanessa) and Patricia Joyce (Michael); his son-in-law Steven Anastasi; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Baltzer (Daniel), Emily Lachinski (Todd), Matthew Svendsen (Amanda), Douglas Svendsen (Brittany), Michael Svendsen (Jennifer), Reiva Denk, Caitlin Wold (Andrew), Margaret Ludwig (Kai), Martin Joyce, Caroline Joyce, Ellen Joyce, Kevin Joyce, Julia Anastasi, Nicholas Anastasi and Maria Anastasi. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Church of the Blessed Sacrament.
