With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roland Joseph Flynn of Woodbury, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Roland left this world on October 7, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Lynn; his parents, Rollie and Bettie; his siblings, Shirley Roche (Denny) and Mike; and his brother-in-law Joel Tracy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Meghan Laughlin (Chris) and Katie Benscoter (Adam); his grandchildren, Sophia, Gavin, Ben Laughlin, Ellen, June and Frannie Benscoter; his siblings, Jane Dean (Jim), Betty Jo Votel (Mark), Rich (Joy), Delia, Dannette Sexton (Doug) and Denise Abbott; and his brothers-in-law, Greg (Nancye) and Jim Doelle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, special cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption - St. Paul (51 7th St W, St Paul, MN 55102). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (2101 Lexington Ave S, Mendota Heights, MN 55120-1211).
