He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Obermoller and Wilhelmina Obermoller (Steffen); his wife Lucille Jensen; his son Robert Obermoller; his son-in-law Doyle Moore; his granddaughters, Angel and Angelia; and his siblings, Stanley Obermoller and Vera Mae Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Ruby Moore of Worthington, MN, James Obermoller (Sandi) of Round Lake, MN, Connie Janssen (Merle) of Worthington, MN and Ronald Obermoller (Karen) of Brewster, MN; and his grandchildren, Dayle, Larry, Kristine, Travis, Bryan, Scott, Sara, Mark, Christopher, Carrie, Lee, Melissa and Jonathan. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, and 3 step-great grandchildren.
