He was predeceased by: his father Darrel Briggs; and his grandparents, John, Marion Reether, Marvin and Vivian Briggs.
He is survived by: his mother Marianne Briggs (Reether); his former wife Tiffany Stowe; his son Payne Briggs; his sisters, Rhonda Besel (Austin) and Darla Miller (Ferlin); and his nieces and nephews, Tucker Besel (Timmy), Mckenzie Weis (Alex), Hailee and Carson Hammel.
