He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Meinders and Sharlene Meinders (Nelson); and his brother Mark Meinders. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Meinders of Brewster, MN; his children, Jared Meinders (Katie) of Lincoln, NE, Brianna Meinders of Heron Lake, MN and Colin Meinders of Brewster, MN; his grandson Alexander; his brother Todd Meinders (Susan) of Worthington, MN; his sister-in-law Billie Meinders of Eutawville, SC; and his nephews, Barry and Travis Meinders. He is also survived by three children, one grandson, and a granddaughter.
