He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Lang and Olive Lang (Anton); his sister Michelle Johnston; and also Harlan Christians. He is survived by: his sister Linda Lang; his brother-in-law Greg Johnston of Miles City, MT; and his cousins, Doug Anton (Marcia), Jerome Anton, Sylvia Christians, Bob Munson, Charles Lang, Rosemary Schissel (James), Connie Steffen (Paul) and Jim Lang (Gerri).

The Ringmaster, a movie about Larry's onion rings and the disease, Alzheimer's, won rave reviews worldwide.
