It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Lorene Gruis (Worthington, Minnesota), who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Litka and Pearl Litka (Yale); her former husband Leonard Postma; her children, Barbara, Keith and Karen; her husband Henry; her sister June; her grandson Jason; her children, Barb Van Otterloo of Sioux Falls, SD and James Postma; her granddaughters, Jennifer Van Otterloo of Sioux Falls, SD, Jean Johnson (Jason) and Jody Ryder (Paul); her great grandchildren, Dalton Johnson (Jamie) and Skyla Mae Rautenkranz of Fargo, ND; and her daughters, Iris Friede and Donna Dwire (Tony). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews/bonus grandchildren; cousins.
Nothing could keep her from teaching until the Covid-19 pandemic arrived.
