He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Fuerstenberg and Magdalen Fuerstenberg (Kremer); his sister-in-law Leona Fuerstenberg (Probst); his sister Arneta; his brother-in-law William Middendorf; his sister Dorothy; his brother-in-law Lawrence Diekmann; and his son-in-law Thomas Roubik.
He is survived by: his wife Agatha Amelia Diekmann; his children, Diane Roubik of Worthington, MN, Karen Rusch (Dale) of Hutchinson, MN, Steven Fuerstenberg (Barb) of Worthington, MN and Mary Ann Unger (Steven) of Brook Park, MN.; his grandchildren, Eric Unger (Andrea) of Maple Grove, MN, Mark Unger (Tessa) of Duluth, MN, Nicholas Rusch of Hutchinson, MN and Katherine Brooks (Jordan) of Canyon Lake, TX; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn Unger and Ethan Unger.
