He is survived by: his children, Randy Geertsema (Barb) of North Mankato, MN, Kurt Geertsema (Melissa) of Worthington, MN and Brenda Christenson (Jeff) of Sterling, CO; his grandchildren, Benjamin Geertsema (Lizzy Piepho), Mikayla Guenzi (Logan), Shelby Mliner (Alex), Kale Christenson, Marli Christenson, Jayse Geertsema and Kenli Geertsema; his former spouse Shirley Manitz; and his siblings, Robert Geertsema (Jean), Thomas Geertsema (Margaret), Dennis Geertsema (Bert), Dale Geertsema (Debi), William Geertsema (Deb) and Mary Bastman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
