He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willey and Nellie Willey (Gipson); and his sisters, Catherine, Lois, Adilee and Nina.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine Willey; his children, Linda Smith (Rick) of Rapid City, SD, Karen Stofferahn (Mark), Michael Willey (Krista) and Scott Willey; his grandchildren, Kassie Smith, Justin Smith, Marissa Bell (Stofferahn), Josh Stofferahn, Jordan Willey and Brennan Willey; and his sister Norma Extrand. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
