He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Alice Mae Lynch Short; his wife Donna Short; and his siblings, Alice Faye Thornton and David Short.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Bisnett and Karla Short; his siblings, John Short, Jim Short, Betty Irwin, Jerry Short, Connie Cox, Sharon Scrogham and Ed Short; and his grandchildren, Hailee Waller and Brenden McDonald. He is also survived by two step-children, many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Benjamin Cemetery or the Amoret Community Center.
