She was predeceased by : her parents, Karl D. Squibb and Louise Squibb (Baldwin); and her husband Aubrey Owens. She is survived by : her children, Chad (Kara Owens) and Melissa (Missy); her grandchildren, Jacob Moreland, Alexa Owens, Tate Moreland, Jackson Owens, Sam Moreland and Arc; and her siblings, Mary Lea Hicks of Springfield and Warren Squibb (Delta King) of Springfield. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to the Bois D' Arc United Methodist Church.
