He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Jones and Janice Jones (Mallory); his daughter Sherry Lynn Jones; and his brother Robert Jones. He is survived by : his wife Betty Jones; his children, Terry Jones (Becky), Kerry Rector (David) and Gary Jones (Sara); his grandchildren, Jessica Reighard (Nathan), Lindsey Broussard (Trey), Jacob Rector, Adrianna Rector, Austin Jones (Madi), Brant Jones (Kristen) and Emily McThompson; and his siblings, Sharon Morgan (Jim) and Leon Jones (Karen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
