He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Franks; his sons, Donny Smoot (Kristin) of Macon, MO and Adam Smoot (Michele) of Hannibal, MO; his grandchildren, Tyler, Morgan, Mason, Lukas Smoot of Macon, Elaina, Asher and Emerson Smoot of Hannibal; and his sisters, Jo Ann Robuck of Macon, MO and Donna Taylor (Daryl) of Atlanta, MO. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
