He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Carl and Doretha Byers, Sr. (Rogers); and his brother Thomas Carl Byers, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Marsh; his son Chris Byers (Jennifer) of Kansas City, MO; his siblings, Eugene Byers of Louisiana, Irma Holden of Louisiana and Helen Levetino of Mississippi; and his aunt Lillie Mae Rogers of Louisiana. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 step-granddaughters, 2 great-grandchildren.
