He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Burks and Lillie Burks (Haggard); his wife Nancy; his son Tony Burks; his siblings, Harlan, Wayne Burks, Marjorie and Reva Lea; and his great grandchild Mason.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Burks (Rachel), Reba Minor, Jeff Burks (Connie) and Mike Burks; his grandchildren, Elayna, Brandon, Brett, Ashley, Cory, Lyndsi, Breanna, Chanze, Tannin, Miranda and Shayla; and his brothers, Don Burks, Larry Burks and Dan Burks.
