She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence F. 'Shinny' and Lula Burt Chenault; and her siblings, Blake Chenault, Nunelee Chenault, Jimmy Chenault, Polly Majirus and Bernice Howard.

She is survived by: her husband Elvis Proffer; her sons, Terril R. of Westminster Colorado and Jerril G. Proffer (Beverly) of Gillette Wyoming; and her friend Joyce Tumlinson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
