He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Eli and Lola Lakey (Hutchison); his wife Judy; and his siblings, Marian Smith, Louisa Porter, Basil Lakey, Darrell Lakey, Harold Lakey and Narvel Lakey.
He is survived by: his children, Gary (Tammy Lakey) and Melinda (James Souder); his grandchildren, Payton, Chris Odehnal, Josh, Kaelan Lakey, Megan, Brady Ward, Jacob Lakey, Brittnie, Seth Lacy, Kymberlee, Devin Myers, Haylee and Austin Rambo; his great grandchildren, Jon, Quinnlee, Blake, Cameron, Sadie, Parker and Bridger; and his siblings, Marvin (Jean Lakey) and Sue Porter.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ava Cemetery.
