He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Hull; his children, Joseph Norris, Jr., Thomas Norris (Kelli) and Kathryn Bridges (Scott); his grandchildren, Athena Jones (James), Mark Norris (Amanda), Greg Norris (Kersy), Sara Caster (Cody) and Macie Rosine Bridges; his great grandchildren, Sharica Jones, Carissa Jones, Dakota Jones and Frankie Margaret Norris; his brothers, Jesse Norris (Vicki) and Jim Norris; and his sister-in-law Shirley Norris.
