It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Getty (Avilla, Missouri), born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 25, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Getty and Mary Jane "Shoaff" Getty; his wife Linda Wilkins; and his children, Michael East of Avilla, Barbara Bozeman (Drew) of Cooperas Cove, TX, Kathy Derrick of Joplin, Jenifer Getty of Athens, AL and Mary Hogan (Christopher) of Westland, MI. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
